Meet the maker

Hi, I'm Aliciana.

Delicious Designs began in early 2023. It started the moment I saw my first fruit carvings, something clicked, and the artist in me had to try it. After hours of sitting at my dining room table, with just knives, fruit, and creativity, that spark grew into something I loved doing: turning fresh fruit into edible art. And that's where this business began.

Honestly, I love every part of it, designing each piece, watching it come together, and most of all seeing my clients light up as they dig into something almost too pretty to eat. Every order is hand-built fresh with bright, in-season fruit, so your table looks vibrant and tastes its absolute best.

What's fresh right now

We build with the seasons. Here's what's at its peak in the Pacific Northwest through the year. Ensuring your order is always fresh, bright, and sweet.

Spring Mar – May

With vegetables being the main crops locally ready in spring, most fruit is imported, such as blueberries, grapes, pomegranate, and others.

Summer Jun – Aug

Peak season for local delicious fruits! Sweet Bing and golden Rainier cherries, local strawberries, raspberries, blueberries, and blackberries, plus juicy Yakima peaches, nectarines, and plums. It's also the best time for sweet, juicy watermelon, making it the perfect season for a Northwest fruit table.

Fall Sep – Nov

Orchard season. Apples and pears are the local highlight, grown right here in Washington with October at their peak. Oranges, grapes, and pineapples are imported from warmer regions to compensate for the lack of Washington-grown produce ready in fall.

Winter Dec – Feb

In winter, locally grown apples are still crisp and fresh. Other produce, like kiwis, grapefruit, dragon fruit, blackberries, grapes, and pineapples, is imported from South America.

Fun fact: Washington state produces over 60% of all the apples grown in the United States. Also, the golden Rainier cherry was first bred right here at Washington State University.

Lead time

Platters & cakes: 1 week in advance when possible. Grazing tables & weddings: 2+ weeks recommended. Last minute? Call or text, we'll do our best. (Rush fee may apply)

Booking & deposit

A 50% deposit reserves your date, with the balance due 48 hours before your event. Custom designs welcome.

Delivery & setup

Delivery and setup available across the South Sound, quoted by location. Pickup in Auburn also available.

Frequently asked

How far in advance should I order?

For platters, cakes, and pineapple vases, orders must be placed 1 week in advance. For grazing tables, weddings, and large events, please reach out at least 2 weeks ahead so we can lock in your date. Need something sooner? Call or text and we'll see what's possible.

Do you deliver and set up?

Yes. We deliver and set up grazing tables and large orders across Auburn and the greater Seattle area. Delivery is quoted based on your location. Pickup in Auburn is also available for platters and cakes.

How does payment work?

A 50% deposit reserves your event date, with the remaining balance due 48 hours before your event. We'll confirm everything in your quote first, no surprises.

Can you customize colors, themes, or add-ons?

Absolutely! One of my favorite parts about creating fruit arrangements is the fact that every one is different, and I love working around a theme. Usually I'll create a sketch prior to creating, so whether you have a clear vision or just a theme or color scheme in mind, I can work around it.

Is the fruit fresh and in season?

Always! All fruit is carefully picked, ensuring fresh, in-season produce. Summertime is the best time for local produce direct from local farms. To ensure freshness, all fruit is purchased the day prior to pickup or delivery.

What events do you cater?

We can cater a variety of events, from baby showers, birthday parties, corporate events, graduations, holidays, brunches, and more! Even if you're looking for something small scale as a gift, Delicious Designs has you covered (our fruit "cakes" are great for this). No matter the occasion, we'll make it special!
